It continues to be our mission to provide the best care we can in a safe and responsible manner. When using televisits our ability to render our typical comprehensive care may have some limitations. Some of our services will not be possible to perform remotely. We will do our best to work around these and we appreciate your understanding.
Please review these guidelines prior to your telehealth visit:
- You must have an active Healow patient portal account. Please log in to make sure all of your contact information is up to date. The email on file is where the reminder link will be sent.
- The easiest way to connect to the televisit is through the email link. However, you may log into the Healow patient portal via a desktop or laptop to connect to your appointment. You can also download the Healow app on a smart device (available in Google and Apple stores).
- The device you are connecting on must have a camera, a speaker, and a good internet connection. The software will run a check of these items prior to connecting you to the physician. If the physician has not yet connected to your appointment there will be a pop up stating which doc you are waiting for with the date/time of appointment.
BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS TELEVISIT, YOU ARE PROVIDING US YOUR CONSENT FOR TREATMENT AND AUTHORIZATION TO BILL YOUR INSURANCE ON YOUR BEHALF. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT CO-PAYS AND CO-INSURANCE FOR THIS VISIT MAY APPLY BASED UPON YOUR INDIVIDUAL PLAN.
Digital Ear Otoscope (Camera)We are trialing a system that allows you to take an image of your ear drum at home. This would allow your health care provider to evaluate your ear during a remote televisit.
